Live · 90 minutes · monthly
You can’t fix what you haven’t diagnosed.
The Monthly Strategy Workshop is a live session for repeat ILTS test takers who are tired of studying without knowing whether they’re fixing the right problem.
We’ll spend 90 minutes on how the exam is built, why confident answers turn out wrong, and how to decide where your next four weeks of study actually go.
Held live on Zoom. Bring your most recent score report.
This is for you if…
- You’ve taken an ILTS exam more than once and haven’t passed yet.
- You’ve studied — genuinely studied — and the score didn’t move the way the effort should have moved it.
- You have a score report you don’t fully know how to read.
- You have a retake coming and you don’t want to prepare for it the same way you prepared for the last one.
If you’re taking the ILTS for the first time, or what you actually need is someone to reteach a subject area, this isn’t the right session for you yet.
What we’ll cover
Ninety minutes, four moves. No content review — this is about how the test works.
How your score report actually reads
What the subarea numbers tell you, what they can’t tell you, and the patterns worth acting on when you’ve taken the exam more than once.
How ILTS questions are built
Question anatomy and distractor patterns — including why the answer that felt obviously right was written to feel that way.
Where your study time should go
Domain weighting: how to spend your hours on the subareas carrying the most points instead of reviewing everything equally.
Decisions on test day
Pacing, flagging, when to change an answer and when to leave it, and why you should never leave a question blank.
What you leave with
A specific answer to the question you’ve been carrying around: why does this keep happening?
You’ll walk out able to read your own score report strategically, recognize the question patterns that have been costing you points, and name where your study time should go before your next attempt — instead of starting over from page one of another guide.
What this workshop is not
It’s not content review, and it’s not a promise that you’ll pass. I can’t make that promise and I won’t.
What I can do is show you how this test is beating you, and give you a strategy for the next attempt that isn’t just “study harder.”
Before the session
- Have your most recent ILTS score report open — we work from real numbers, not hypotheticals.
- Know roughly when your next attempt is, or when you’d like it to be.
- Come somewhere you can talk. This isn’t a webinar you watch passively.
